You step out onto a farm field on a crisp October evening. A breeze carries the smells of locally-grown ginger, roasted roots, and fire to your nose. Following this scent, you arrive at a warmly lit barn that fills with music from local, young talent. You are welcomed to a long table lined with breads and spreads awaiting your enjoyment. Smiles are exchanged amidst community members as you listen to incredible young leaders share about their experience preparing this one-of-a-kind, farm-to-table dinner. The meal you are served is hearty; the food carries vibrant colors, a deep respect for the land, and a whole lot of love. You feel connected here—to the nourishing food on your plate, to the good-hearted people on either side of you, and to the empowering cause you are supporting.
Over the past three summers, 18 young people from New Hampshire, Maine, and Massachusetts have taken part in our paid teen apprenticeship. These teens have learned not only how to grow food, but how to grow as capable, responsible humans who care for earth, themselves, and one another.
Your donation funds leadership positions for returning teens to train, uplift, and work alongside new teen apprentices in the Educational Gardens for the 2026 growing season!

Our Certified Naturally Grown produce and seedlings are the freshest, highest quality around, and raised bio-intensively without harmful chemicals. No pesticides, no synthetic fertilizers, and yes locally-sourced compost! We utilize people-power, “no-till” practices and use only organic inputs: this means life has the chance to THRIVE in our soil. We grow on 60 permanent beds totaling about ⅓ of an acre, along with a caterpillar tunnel and greenhouse.
